CUSTOM ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES
Designers and fabricators of custom architectural features.
The creative is based on the kinetics of controlled moire optics.
Holographic simulated wall features are sculpted and positioned to create rich dimensional translucent textures, colours and forms.
Fine Stainless Steel fabrics are hand sculpted to optically re-mix RGB/LED illumination into millions of luxurious colour combinations. Custom textures simulate surfaces from asteroids to the fluidity of liquid forms.
Applications include: Lobby design, Restaurant / bar / night clubs, reception areas as well as retail store front design and anywhere the imagination thrives.
Sculpted, translucent textures and RGB illumination create unique 3 dimensional special effects that can be designed to function in ambient light.
Sculpture: Absolute Colour
The Sculpture of Art and Technology
Absolute Condos, situated at the north / east corner of Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorp, presented its residents with their newly completed, entertainment and sports centre. The lobby opens wide to greet its guests with Absolute Colour emerging from a shallow water feature. Initiated by Carmen Dragomir of the Toronto firm esQape design, this first of its kind illumination sculpture is by Toronto designer / sculptor Ralph Russo.
Rich translucent colours morphing and pulsating between the water and the ceiling. This technology driven art installation is powered by a LED / RGB illumination array system. The system pumps colourful LED / RGB array combinations through twelve (7.5 “ D x 12’ L) woven Stainless Steel tubulars. There are no moving parts. The optical effects are generated when the viewer is approaching the sculpture. The system can be programmed to create over 3.5 million custom colours.
